First, the Task-Mode Mismatch. I personally find Centaur mode far more effective for the high-level orchestration I do. Many users default to Cyborg mode regardless of the task, but for 401-level work, you need that 'Human-in-the-Loop' distance to maintain strategic control.
Second, the 'Macro' Trap. I see many developers (and even the younger generation) handing AI a massive macro problem and expecting a 'Cyborg' miracle. We need to teach them to use AI as a Decomposition Agent first—breaking the macro into micro-shards. This mimics the agentic behavior required to actually finish complex projects.
Third, the 'Stateless' vs. 'Bloat' Dilemma. Nate is right about the lack of feedback loops in generic LLMs. However, once you build that loop, you hit the wall of ever-growing context windows. This is where Context Pruning and Context Sharding become non-negotiable architectural requirements to prevent the AI from drifting.
Nate's 95% failure rate isn't just about the tools; it's about failing to navigate these three specific layers.
